About the role:
You will be responsible to assist and supervise the preparation of the operational staff rosters according to the staff demand as determined by operational and contracted engagement standards within agreed HR parameters.
To support all QAS Ground Handling departments in delivering a consistently high standard of operation in line with the respective customer airline Standard Ground Handling Agreements And Service Level Agreements in a fast changing and highly cost conscious environment.
You will also be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Continually analyse roster coverage in line with roster and staff changes to ensure operational coverage is maintained at all times.
  • Analyse the impact of the changes related to special periods of the year (Ramadan, Hajj, conferences, sports events, etc.)
  • Formulate SOP’s related to each process on a regular basis.
  • To prepare all overtime related reports and present to the RMS Support Team Controller and RMS Support Team Manager for further review.
  • Implement new shift patterns taking into account future changes in demand and the need for more cost effective rostering solutions that safe guard operation coverage.
  • To liaise with QR IT for any system discrepancies related to overtime approval in GEMS
  • Prepare daily rostering KPI reports for the operational management to help ensure company HR practices are being followed whilst identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work with the operational admin team to manage the leave process for safe guarding operational coverage
  • Be able to use the Inform Groundstar Suite to help manage the departments Planning, Rostering and Staff Allocation functions.
  • Support departmental initiative to introduce and test new engagement standards.
  • Prepare and present the weekly roster report to the RMS Support Team Manager as part of the weekly update.

Qualifications
About you:
The ideal candidate will have a vocational, tertiary or Trade or Diploma or Associate degree with minimum of 4 years relevant experience. Have an analytical background, objective problem solver, have operational business knowledge, be self-motivated, effective communicator and be able to work to tight deadlines.
Expertise in RMS Configuration and exposure to elements of Inform Groundstar Suite will be an added advantage.
